Saturday 9th May would have been our end of season presentations for 2019/20, where traditionally we recap the highs and lows of the season, the matches, individual performances and other notable events that took place plus, of course, hand out some well-deserved awards and thanks.
Following the most recent government updates, Basketball England have now taken the decision to suspend all basketball related activities for the remainder of the season.
The Management Committee met on 9 March 2020 and discussed the different options and measures we may need to take as the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation develops. For now, we are following Basketball England advice and continuing with our competitions and training as normal.
Please see below a summary of our last training dates before Xmas and the dates we return in the New Year.

Brighton Cougars Basketball Club is one of the largest basketball clubs in South East England and is currently looking to recruit at least one additional L2 or L3 coach for its junior National League programme. Based in Brighton, East Sussex, you would need to be available two evenings a week for training plus weekends for home and away fixtures which may be on a Saturday or a Sunday.
OPEN TRIALS: TUES JULY 2 & JULY 9 2019
If you’re currently in school years 5-10, are athletic and enjoy other sports like netball or hockey, then why not come along to our Open Trials? No experience necessary, just lots of enthusiasm and energy. For our Women’s teams some basketball experience is preferred as both teams play at a fairly high level.
